 “I can remember patrolling the streets of Houston deep into the night and thinking to myself, the people asleep in the homes I would pass had no idea about some of the things that were happening, just outside their doors. Some of us have served on the streets of high-crime, major metropolitan areas. Others have served in battlefields abroad. But one thing we all had in common, was an oath. We understood the risk, but our focus was on the responsibility – to serve and protect. Some of us who have served have seen things that others would find unimaginable. We have experienced things that no one should have to endure. But we pushed our way through the circumstances, as a team, committed to each other, for a purpose – a calling to accomplish the mission. This is what would draw us close to our counterparts and build an inseparable bond. Those bonds were not to be taken lightly. When we say, “I’ve got your six”, those are words with meaning- deep meaning. That is a commitment that, come hell or high water, we will do everything we humanly can to protect you. If it means placing ourselves in harm’s way, between you and the threat, we will do so, without hesitation. That is the level of commitment we speak of and represent. Op6 was built upon these experiences and the oath the protect. We offer this same level of commitment to you and the others we serve – a passion for protection. It is who we are. It is what we do.”
